Since this is our last during pride month, we thought this may be a great time to have a discussion around the intersection between Neurodiversity/Madness and Queerness/LGBTQIA2+ identity. There are a lot of fruitful angles to explore at this intersection. How does one's experience of  Neurodiversity/Madness inform their relationship to gender? How does the strict policing of Neurodivgent/Mad behaviors mirror the strict policing of gendered behaviors? How has Queerness been pathologized both historically and contemporarily? How are pathological categories influenced by hetero and cis normativity? This is to say...there is a LOT of room to talk, and we’re excited to do so!
