NeuroTales RPG
In addition to working on writing projects that are ongoing, NeuroTales is a space for the exploration of creativity through fun and interesting ways. All while having fun and community building! This week NeuroTales member Andrew Gallagher will be continuing NeuroTale’s journey into the roleplaying game Monsterhearts. This will be a fun way to engage in some collaborative storytelling with fellow NeuroTales members!
Free Write
Writing alone can be hard, particularly during quarantine. That’s why we have Free Writes, sessions where we come together to write independently. We hold each other accountable for writing time and help each other out when we have thoughts or questions in the moment.
Brainstorming/Process Check-in
Need to talk through some thoughts you’ve been having about your writing? Need to work through some ideas with other points of view? Our Brainstorming/writing check-in is the perfect place to check in with fellow NeuroTales members about your work.
Meet and Read
Meet and Reads are meetings where we share our work with other members of NeuroTales. After each share, we will take the time to provide feedback on the work and answer any questions the writer has.
If you would like to read or hear your piece read aloud, or would rather just listen and provide feedback you are welcome and encouraged to join

Writing Prompt
Sometimes it is useful to step away from the projects you’re working on and try something new. That’s why in this meeting we’ll be sharing pieces that we made based on a writing prompt provided earlier in the week. This is a great chance to explore writing in a way you may not have tried before. Happy writing!
NeuroTales Roundtable: Neurodivergent, Mad, and Disability language
We will be having a NeuroTales roundtable. Roundtables are a time for us to come together as a group and discuss a wide range of topics and ideas.
Today we will be talking about Neurodivergent, Mad, and Disability language. This is a broad topic with a lot of different angles, perspectives, and ideas. What are people's personal preferences, and how did they develop? How do we think the language we use impacts how the world understands ND/Mad/disability concepts? How can language be a freeing tool or a tool for violence?
I am very excited to have this conversation with you all and be in space with all of your lovely insights.

The Writing that Shaped Us
This week, we are doing something new. On Sunday we will be sharing the writing (or any piece of art) that shaped us! This is a chance to get to know each other better, learn about some cool new art, and share pieces that are important to us personally.

Workshop: Storytelling through roleplaying games
This week it's time to learn some fun new skills, as NeuroTale's own Andrew Gallagher will be running a workshop this Sunday! This week we will learn more about the wonderful world of role-playing games. How do they work? What goes into running one? And what storytelling potentials lie in this format?

NeuroTales Check-in
We like to not only check in about our writing, but also check in with the goals, functions, and future of NeuroTales itself. This is a time for the members of NeuroTales to talk about how the group we reside in functions.

NeuroTales Three-Year Anniversary!
Happy three-year anniversary! Thank you to everybody who made three years possible. This meeting will be to celebeate the past three years, as well as the future of NeuroTales.
Monsterhearts: A post-campaign breakdown
This week, our lovely master of ceremonies Andrew Gallagher will be leading us through a post-campaign breakdown of Monsterhearts! What worked? What are the challenges? How does one craft a great TTRPG story? What can we do in the future? There are lots of great conversations to be had in a fitting way to say farewell to Monsterhearts… for now.
